Biography 

Sudhir Kumar Singh is an Associate Professor of Chemical Engineering at Thapar Institute of Engineering and Technology (TIET), Patiala, since March 2018. He joined the department on June 1, 2012, as Assistant Professor. Sudhir worked as project semester coordinator in the chemical engineering department from 2014 to 2015 and UG- program coordinator from September 2016 to July 2021. He has been working as a Ph.D. coordinator in the department since August 2021. Sudhir worked as a DAE-ICT scientist at the Institute of Chemical Technology, Matunga, Mumbai, India, for a year before joining the TIET, Patiala. Sudhir got his B. Tech. in Chemical Engineering from the University Institute of Engineering and Technology (UIET), CSJM University Kanpur, in 2003 and his M. Tech. in Chemical Technology with specialization in Oil Technology from Harcourt Butler Technological Institute (HBTI), Kanpur, in 2005. He obtained a doctorate degree (Ph.D.) in chemical engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology Kanpur, India, in 2011. Sudhir's research mainly focuses on nanoscience, nanoporous materials, adsorption, biodegradable polymers, and thermodynamic properties of bulk and nanoconfined fluids.
