Infrastructure Project :

TIET is enlisted under Fund for Improvement of S & T Infrastructure DST (FIST), Government of India, for the term 2018-2022 giving new, wider wings to augment its teaching and research facilities. 

Research Project (ongoing): 

  • Dr. Haripada Bhunia (PI) and Dr. Sudhir Kumar Singh (Co-PI) have received a CSIR sponsored project entitled “Development of biodegradable polyethylene using organic additives” of Rs 26.2 lakhs for the duration of three years (2023-2026).
  • Dr. Haripada Bhunia (PI), Dr. Raj kumar Gupta (Co-PI) and Dr. Sudhir Kumar Singh (Co-PI) have received a DAE-BRNS sponsored project entitled “Development of radiation induced glycidyl methacrylate grafted polyamide-6 nanocomposites for CO2 capture” of Rs 20.72 lakhs for the duration of three years (2022-2025).

  • Dr. Rajeev Mehta (PI) has received DRDO (ARMREB) sponsored project entitled “Enhanced energy absorption of interpenetrating polymer network of polyborodimethylsiloixane and polyurethane foams” of Rs.  90 lakhs for the duration of three years (2021-2024).
